I am bored out of my mind at the moment. I am so bored, I am going to read Lord of the Rings, also known in the nerd world as, lotr.

Here's an update on stockguy/man: I emailed him telling him that I have no experience with stocks and do not even know how to file my taxes. I informed him that I am a computer geek in the making and that his company's website needs some serious work.

In his reply email, he complimented me on my personality, thanked me for 'ragging' on his site, and wants to talk over lunch.

I'm not sure if I want to do lunch with stockguy/man. I will talk over coffee, but not lunch, because having a meal with a guy who's appearance is a bit fuzzy in my mind is more than I want to invest in this relationship.

Do people stop by your office to ask you for things, tell you what to do, and prevent you from completing your work? Well, I have a solution for you!

Put a huge bowl of tasty chewy candies on your desk. Use an eye-catching container. Your coworkers with agendas will come to your office, ready to annoy you, but will be distracted by your kind edible gifts. I guarantee that your oppressors will not be able to resist the confectionery temptation. Once they put the glutinous sweets in their big fat mouths, they will forget why they came to see you in the first place. The chewy candy will impede their attempts to talk, thus forcing them to leave your office defeated!

Being daddy's little girl has got to be one of the best things in life. Today, my daddy met me for lunch, then took me to Best Buy, and let me pick out a digital camera for my birthday. I feel kind of bad knowing that his gift will probably used in improper manners.

I told my dad about stockguy/man from the mall and how he offered me job that would probably pay really well. I informed my father that I didn't want the job but would use stockguy/man as a shugadaddy and my father responded with, "You're not THAT easy."

Some of you have asked about the phone survey I've been helping with these past couple of days. My job is to call MBAs and ask them why and how they decided to apply to certain schools. I ask questions from a computer survey and their answers are dumped into a database. This process takes about 20 minutes. Twenty damn minutes of my life is used to ask questions, type their answers and click a computer screen with my mouse.

WOULD YOU LIKE TO TAKE A SURVEY?!

Monday, December 15

I can't talk. I spent a good part of the day calling people to persuade them to take part of a phone survey.

Sunday, December 14

My to-do list for this Sunday consists of two writing activities: one to my ten year-old lil' girl cousin and another to this guy/man I met at the mall yesterday.

What am I going to write to a ten-year old? I could talk about how I spent my childhood. I rode my bike like a fiend, had funtabulous pool parties at my crib and played imaginary house games with my friends. Not surprising to some, I had many crushes and gossiped about boys all the time. I played basketball, baseball and hide-n-go seek with my brother and his friends. I was an over-achieving kid who took piano lessons, ballet, art lessons, swimming, and tap. I read and watched plenty of movies. Babysitter Club books were my passion and I related to the Asian character, Claudia. I prided myself on finishing a whole Babysitter Club book within a single afternoon.

What am I going to write to guy/man? We met at the cart yesterday. He came up to me and asked about the price of a pair of cushy slippers. He's business man who deals with stocks, while I'm a recent graduate doing research who is just starting out in the real world. My life is pretty damn boring. I go to work, work out, eat a lot of salads, watch tv, write in my blog, chat with my friends, and lounge. Oh and I get drunk about once every two weeks.

Oh my. I think I was more interesting when I was ten than I am now.
