The following things remind me of the boy I left behind and it makes me cry:
1. listening to Jack Johnson
2. reading MSN online articles about "the-best-friend-as-a-husband"
3. meeting jackasses at the bars
4. walking by really cute restaurants
5. Led Zeppelin
6. when I start to freak out about my workload, financial situations, and time mismanagement and need someone to tell me 'It will be okay.'
7. when I have back and shoulder aches and am in dire need of a massage
8. walking the dog
9. the unbuilt futon cluttering my tiny bitch of a studio
10. chill bars
11. really large water bottles
12. Arrested D
13. Fam Guy
14. beer
15. Almost Famous
16. the town of San Mateo
17. music by Michael Jackson
18. books
For the following items, I tend to forget the boy I left behind or glad that I left him in the hell that is NC:
1. hot young men at the bars who don't look like douchebags (few and far between)
2. stupid tied dyed shirts
3. pants that don't fit right
4. ungelled hair

I'm already bitter and possessive! Ha.
Okay so I have a couple of schoolio friends who I've gotten to know. One is a cute short hiphoppy half Italian guy who I wouldn't date for the life of me because he is short and in my program. Other than that, he is totally cool and funny. The other girl is this skinny, tiny, artsy farsty, music, Audry Hepburn loving girl who is totally totally cute and cynical. Anyway, Hepburn and Half-Ital would make an attractive couple and I can tell that he likes her, but he is not her type. I colesced this group together, and now I am very jealous and bitter that he called her to ask about our landlord (Hepburn and I happen to have the same property managers). He could have easily called me for info, but he apparently I wasn't on the top of his list for housing info. Just because I am 8 inches taller than him shouldn't preclude me from phone conversations.

Why do people tend to under-estimate the time it takes to do perform a task? More often than not, I correctly estimate the time it takes to get from point A to point B, but when it comes to homework, I never finish on time. Is there some sort of forcefield that compels me to procrastinate and do everything BUT my homework (e.g. AIM, thesuperficial.com, yahoo)?
